A small ray of hope for the "merry month" in May: After Samsung Gulf recently 5.0 Lollipop for the long-established Galaxy Note 2 issued the update to Android a rejection, the Danish branch of the company to an inquiring user suddenly now confirmed that a fix at least for Danish Note 2 will definitely come. Whether German owner of the note are to benefit from Lollipop 2, but is still unclear.
It currently has the Anschien, as Samsung does not know himself whether the now two and a half years old Galaxy Note 2 5.0 Lollipop will still get an update to Android or not. In the Persian Gulf region, the company said via Facebook a few days ago to a user request and stated that there would be no Lollipop for the phablet. On the same day it was called by the Spanish branch, however, that Android 5.0 was on the way - unless coarser adjustment problems arise.
Samsung Denmark confirmed: Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 2 comes
Now "Samsung Danmark" reports on Twitter to speak out and clarifies without eventual loopholes that Danish Galaxy Note 2 devices very well be an update.
At the moment it is working to remove the last bugs out of the Lollipop firmware. Here the tweet refers to models with the CSC code "NEE". This identifier refers not to the entire Nordic Passport Union, that is: Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland - the abbreviation for Denmark would have been "DTL". Furthermore insures the social media team that both the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) and the Galaxy Note 4G (GT-N7105) are provided with a Lollipop update &# 8211; Android 5.1 is probably only once not expected initially.
Also receive German Galaxy Note 2 Lollipop?
It seems that the South Korean manufacturer seems to have so internally not yet evaluated final if the Galaxy Note 2 update 5.0 Lollipop is available on Android - and possibly also whether this is distributed globally. For as the statement of the Danish branch can be seen, probably decide each market region Samsung themselves whether they will roll out 5.0 for the Galaxy Note 2 Android or leaves the 5.5-inch phablet on KitKat. However, with the confirmation of the Danish subsidiary Samsung, the odds are now at least somewhat better that this country owner of the Note 2 will eventually be blessed with lollipop.
