The so-called "iRadio" is coming, but it says "iTunes Radio": There is a free Internet service for listening to music from Apple, a personalized radio station. In the US, iTunes Radio is already running, although a few months. In Germany, we have - at least officially - wait a bit. Perhaps in 2014 the offer starts along with Britain, Canada and other countries.
"ITunes Radio is heard a wonderful way personalized radio stations that have been created exclusively for the particular handset," said Eddy Cue, senior vice president of Internet software and services from Apple. "It's the music that you love the most, you will love and that you can buy from the iTunes Store with just one click simple."
Personalized iTunes Radio
More than 200 radio stations are integrated to provide the right collection for every musical taste in iTunes. In addition, the service still offers every user a personal mix. "The more you listen to music, the more personalized your transmitter is" Apple promises. The user optimizes its compilation apparently by a favorite starlets and wind forward.
In addition to the mix Apple will also transmit live streams of iTunes festivals and the like in the new service.
Free, but ad-supported music pleasure
Very uneconomical does not think Apple in the case of iTunes Radio: The service is free, but ad-supported. The situation is different for iTunes Match users: You listen ad-free. For 24,99 Euro per year that sounds like a good offer.
iTunes Radio iTunes available
The name says it already: iTunes Radio is available through iTunes. We can see the service through the music management on both Mac to iPhone, iPad or listen PC. On iOS devices, we even get a link to Siri: The language assistant may, for example, call the currently playing track.
However, we have to be patient one more thing: iTunes Radio appeared in the fall of 2013 in the US. When Germany's turn, is not yet known.
