The Nexus 5 plays at least since last Thursday, the day of its official launch, the first violin in the Androidwelt - of course with us. If you own a Nexus 4, will raise the question with certainty what better can the new model, as it is technically size differs from its predecessor and where to find the other differences. Amir has therefore compared the two Nexus generations on camera together.

Visually, the differences are obvious: The discontinued model Nexus 4 has front and rear glass surface - the rear is equipped with a kind of glittering effect and because of the material smoother than that of the Nexus 5. After having the Nexus 5, the manufacturer of both (!) device, in particular LG, the same matte rubberized plastic and used as in the Nexus 7 (2013) (test), at least in the black variant, this is the case. The surface of the white model is a bit harder and more slippery minimal - to the specific differences between the two Nexus 5 models we go the way into a separate article and video.

Next to the comparison Nexus 5 vs Nexus 4: As for the camera of the Nexus 5, they like the Nexus has a sensor with 8 MP 4, but the new model has an optical image stabilizer, to be balanced with the slight movements. While the speaker sits at the Nexus 4 on the back, the Nexus 5 has its mono-Brüllwürfel on the bottom:

Regarding further technical data has the newer Nexus 5 in many areas course ahead: It has ultimately about the current high-end SoC Snapdragon 800 from Qualcomm, while the Nexus 4 only has a Snapdragon S4 Pro on board - both have however, 2 GB of RAM. The 4.95 inches diagonally measured IPS display of the Nexus 5 has a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels - hence the screen of its predecessor is "only" in WXGA resolution of 1,280 x 768 pixels (despite the nominally higher value the new model is with the naked eye but hardly any difference can be seen). In addition, in both displays, the brightness is perfectly okay.

So much for the differences between the two Nexus generations. These are so great that you will change to the current model of the Nexus 4 from your point of view? Or what speaks from your point of view for the Nexus 4?
